No, by default there is no portable version of the DVD Shrink application. I have checked the official website, and the only version available is for regular computers. However, I have found a fork of the application hosted on SourceForge that has a portable version of this application. I have tested it and run it again my antivirus, and I can say it's safe to be used.

Most notable features of this application is that it allows DVD decryption without installing 3rd party applications and it also allows reauthoring, meaning that once you have decrypted/copied a DVD, it automatically compresses it to create another copy. Besides this, it has all the functions offered by other applications from this category as well.
No, like the name suggests, this application can be used only with DVDs. It doesn't have support for Blu-ray discs because those discs require additional confirmation, key decryption, plug-ins, filters, etc. This is a standard ripper with features meant to be used only for standard DVD Discs.
You should receive the software activation code immediately after the purchase. Check your email Inbox and Spam folders and if you can't find it there, you need to contact the DVD Shrink Support Center.
You can google all you want, best place is to get it from someone who has a copy of it! The main site has been disabled, all remaining file copies are being deleted, all traces of this program is being removed as fast as possible. Get it while you still can! (I had to buy my copy!)
DVD Shrink tell me that I cannot copy a disc due to the "Out of memory". How to fix this?
A

This is a memory leak, it happens when the source drive is faster than the output HDD where you store the files. Also, the problem can caused by a fast CPU as well. To summarize it, the buffer of the HDD fills too fast and causes a memory leak and displays the error above. To overcome this issue, while shrinking, press pause at every 20-30 % and wait for the activity of the HDD to finish. Resume the process, and everything should be OK.
How do I fix the "Cyclic Redundance Check" error in DVD Shrink?

Unfortunately, it's impossible to fix this error, because it's caused by the disc itself. When you encounter the CRC error, it means the DVD is scratched and the data can't be accessed. The only thing you can do is to remove the DVD disc and use Alcohol to clean it. It works quite good if it's done right, but for cases when the DVD is heavily damaged, it has no effect at all.
